Living with it
This is the full-body one for a home, and it's a different experience from the smaller panels: you don't aim it at anything. You stand in front of it, turn round halfway, and that's the session.
EMR-TEK have laid the five bright modules down the panel's centre line rather than spreading them evenly, so standing square to it they sit roughly level with your head, throat, chest, stomach and hips, with the wider LED array filling in around them. You notice this — the panel isn't uniformly bright, it has a spine of brighter light down the middle, and you find yourself lining up with it.
The 30-degree beam keeps the output concentrated, so it reads strong close in and you step back to widen the coverage. Most people settle somewhere around two feet.
The warmth at this size is substantial. Ten minutes in front of 1,400W is a genuinely pleasant thing on a cold morning and a slightly much thing in August — worth knowing if the only place it fits is a small room with no window.
You'll need a stand, and this is where people come unstuck. It isn't included. A full-body panel leaning against a wardrobe gets used twice and then resented. Budget for the stand at the same time, and if you want their electric one, EMR-TEK ask you to put it on the same order as the panel because the two are built to match — order it later and you may not get a pair that fits.
Who it's for
Buy it if standing sessions are the point — one panel, most of you, no repositioning.
Don't if you'd realistically use it sitting down aimed at one shoulder. The Firedragon is half the price and better suited to that.

Those last two figures are the most useful thing on this page. EMR-TEK publish irradiance at two stated distances rather than one big number with no distance attached — and the fall from 200 to 70 as you double the distance is the shape every panel follows.
