Living with it
The Firedragon is the point in the range where a panel stops being a gadget you aim at one spot and starts being something you stand or sit in front of properly. It'll cover a back, a chest, a whole leg. Not all of you at once — but most of what you'd actually bother with.
It comes on an adjustable stainless steel stand that tilts, which sounds minor and isn't. Distance and angle shape a session more than any number on the spec sheet, and being able to tip it down at your shoulders while you sit on the end of the bed is the difference between using it daily and not. The stand comes off if you'd rather mount it on something taller.
There's an LCD timer on the panel itself. You press it, it counts down, it stops — so you're not standing there holding a phone, which sounds trivial and is the single most common reason a session gets cut short.
It's warm. At 504W and close range you feel it across your chest or back within a minute, and the near-infrared adds a deeper warmth that sits just under the skin rather than on it. Most people end up further back than they first expect, partly for coverage and partly for that reason.
At this size it's a two-hands-and-a-clear-run thing to move between rooms, but it's still one person's job. That stops being true further up the range, and it's worth being honest with yourself about whether it'll actually travel or just live in one corner. Either is fine — but if it's going to live in one corner, pick the corner before you buy, because a 504W panel is a presence in a small bedroom.
Who it's for
Buy it if you want one panel to do most things and you don't want to think about it any harder than that. This is the default answer.
Go smaller if you only ever treat one small area — the Firewave is half the price and half the size.
Go bigger if standing full-body sessions are the whole point — that's the Inferno.

Six wavelengths is the widest spread EMR-TEK sell, and the reason to pick this over the cheaper panels: rather than betting on which two wavelengths matter, it covers the researched bands broadly.
Worth noting if you've read their other pages — the Firedragon includes 660nm and 850nm, the pairing EMR-TEK's Firewave copy calls the commodity choice. Covering the band broadly is a perfectly reasonable engineering decision. The two arguments just sit awkwardly together. More on that.
