  • Six wavelengths, 630 to 850nm — the widest spread EMR-TEK sell. Covers the researched bands instead of betting on two.
  • Covers a whole torso. A back, a chest, a full leg — not one spot at a time like the compact panels.
  • Still portable. The last panel in the range you can pick up and carry to another room. Above this you're buying a stand and giving up a corner.
  • Adjustable stand and an on-panel timer. Aim it precisely, press start, forget it — the two things that decide whether a panel gets used daily.

Why this one and not the cheaper ones: the Firewave treats a shoulder. The Firedragon treats your back. That's the jump that changes what you actually do with it — one is a device you aim, the other is a panel you sit in front of.

Why this one and not the dearer ones: above £450 you're buying floor space. The Inferno and Firestorm Pro need a stand and a permanent corner, and the step up in coverage is smaller than the step up in commitment. The Firedragon is the last one that still fits into a normal room and a normal week.

Why the Pro isn't worth the extra: it's the same six wavelengths and the same 504W. You're paying £150 for Meanwell drivers and a 0% flicker figure — worth it if you know you're flicker-sensitive, and otherwise money better spent on coverage.

Half the price, half the size, and the one that actually gets used — because you can lift it with one hand and stand it on the kitchen counter. 236W, three wavelengths, and a 60-degree beam wide enough to cover a seated body from a few feet back. Goggles and UK voltage in the box.

1,400W, five modules aligned down your centre line, and the only panel in the range publishing irradiance at distances you'd actually use: over 200 mW/cm² at 6 inches, over 70 at 12. Stand in front of it for ten minutes and you're done.

Budget for a stand — it isn't included, and if you want EMR-TEK's electric one it has to go on the same order as the panel.

Four wavelengths, no blue, and a rigid shell holding the LEDs 3mm off your skin so nothing presses on your face for twenty minutes. Hands-free, so you wear it while doing something else — which is the difference between a mask you use and a mask in a drawer.

ETERNO $249.99 630/660 + 580 + 525 Face Low

On the "Pro" versions: the upgrade is Meanwell industrial drivers and a 0% flicker figure against the standard build's 3.2%. Wavelengths and coverage don't change. Worth it if you're flicker-sensitive or the panel will run daily for years — otherwise put the money toward more coverage instead.

What you get buying through here

20% off with code CHRISTOPHE69533 at checkout.

No customs bill. EMR-TEK ship DDP to the UK — their site lists UK delivery as duty-free with no import fees. That's unusual for a North American brand, and worth a few hundred pounds against competitors who don't. The arithmetic.

Free shipping over $145, which every panel here clears.

30-day returns and a one-year warranty, published by EMR-TEK.

UK mains ready. Global voltage built in with the right supply in the box — no adapter hunt on day one.

Still deciding?

Two things worth two minutes before you spend:

How to read the irradiance numbers — every brand quotes one big figure, and it's measured somewhere nobody sits.

What the light actually does — the mechanism, and which of the claims built on it hold up.

Affiliate links — we earn commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. How that works.
